Hi Parents!
Today we tried to work with computers/tablets during the morning but we had quite the struggle with the technology. It’s ok though, we’re all learning together! It is very important that the students sign into Edusystem at home and download the units ahead of time. The month of August, we are working on Unit 1. I will do my best to notify you of any changes. For the moment, we are scheduled to have our computers/tablets in class on Wednesday and Fridays. If students could have their machines charged and ready to go this Friday that would be fantastic! Thanks so much for your collaboration!
ANNOUNCEMENTS! We will be having a quiz on Friday in Social Studies. It is over Unit 1. We have been working hard in all of our classes to review the information, and anything on the quiz will be from our notes.
ENGLISH ASSIGNMENT! I am sending the students home with an English assignment to help with reading proficiency. We have been doing a lot with characters and setting. The assignment will be worth 15 points. 6 points will be for completion of the assignment, and each question will be worth 3 points. I really just want to reinforce the concepts we are discussing and make sure every student is engaged!
Although it’s only Wednesday, it’s been a full week! All the students have been doing great and working hard in class. Try asking them about place value, descriptive adjectives, plants, adaptation, and the solar system. They will have a lot to tell you about!
